Si had fallen asleep in the car on the way to the mall, so I had to wake him from a nap for the picture. He was soooo sleepy and the final picture (which cost some insane amount of money) is pretty sad. I don't have an electronic copy of the final photo, but here's Silas waiting in line for his turn to see Santa and then a few snapshots when he was still somewhat interested in the bearded fat dude in the red suit. By the time the elves actually snapped the picture, he was totally unimpressed, essentially pouting and rolling his eyes at the whole scene.
(I was personally unimpressed with the elves. They were two 20 year old girls, who did not seem to enjoy their job at all, lamely ringing some bells to get the kid's attention. If you're going to be an elf, be a good elf. Be a happy elf. Be an elf who rings bells with gusto!) (If I ever find myself unemployed, I'd be willing to be an Amazing Elf!)

I wonder what he's thinking about this jolly man with the curly, curly beard...The weird thing about this Santa was that he had a ton of silver dental work........unfortunately, I couldn't zoom in close enough to give you a preview of the bling...
Santa definitely knows the games that kids like to play.

Si looks so handsome in his Christmas outfit. It looks like he did really good with Santa. Aubry screamed her head of when she was a baby and Emily has always loved Santa.
