On Saturday afternoon we had success in finding our new responsible-yet-sexy vehicle! It took some hard looking, hard negotiation and the desire to smack some car salespeople fairly hard. But finally found the one we wanted, at the price we wanted. The negotiations stress Jonathan out, but I loved it!
I should get a better photo with Jonathan posing with his new car, but this will work for now. I took it with my cell phone on the way to my now-lame-in-comparison car this morning!
For all you folks in the Phoenix area, YES, that is FROST on the windows. Do you need more explanation of this phenomenon?
Frost [frawst] -noun: A covering of minute ice needles, formed from the atmosphere at night upon the ground and exposed objects when they have cooled by radiation below the dew point, and when the dew point is below the freezing point.
Hence...the Mazda 3 Hatcback is so hot it's COOL...so cool it's HOT! (do you remember that Pop-Tarts commercial???) I just noticed it even matches the color of our front door! Though I don't know why our house looks so crooked!?!?

How did I not know you had a personal blog? I'm sad that I have missed these great posts. You flattered me telling me that you were going to call me a lot: I'm still waiting by the phone! Love you tiny baby pics, BTW. :) I hope you guys are doing good - we think of you a lot. :)
okay, I'm retarded. I just had a flash of memory that I once voted for what gender I thought you two created, so I obviously knew about your blog. So sorry - my mind is SO gone these days. I guess living in a cave has its down sides. Now I just have to read up on all the posts I have missed. :)
Radical wheels! I HATE the car dealings, too, but I could see how you might have the right personality to enjoy the process :). I love your house, too! I've never seen a picture of it. Very sweet and cottage-like. Looks just your style! Enjoy that new car smell...mmm....
