Rock Climbing Men

Yesterday, Jonathan took Mike and Jimmy along for his favorite activity - rock climbing!

I could go into the whole story about how I was SOOOOOO kind and thoughtful and creative for Valentine's Day 2007, when I bought private rock climbing lessons for the two of us.  You know, something totally different than the dinner and flowers thing.  And how my darling husband refused to go inside the rock climbing gym for the lesson, due to his newly-discovered fear of heights.  I thought he was joking - this man who is up for almost anything.  But sadly, he remained in the car, with his seatbelt on, and would not get out, despite my eye-rolling, pleading and evil glares.  So I took his brother Stephen instead.  And it was so fun that Stephen became an addict.  Finally, Stephen was able to convince Jonathan to join him for a climb one day...and the rest is history.  A week later, Jonathan bought a 1 year membership and has been climbing 3-4 days a week for the past 18 months.  But I won't go into that story now...And I won't say I TOLD YOU SO!!!  :)
